ADMISSIONS ATTRIBUTION

Know Which Marketing Actually Drives Admissions

Clicks, rankings and raw leads only tell part of the story. Build a measurement framework that connects marketing source to qualified inquiry, verification and admission outcomes.

Audit My Attribution Gaps

The Attribution Chain

The goal is a usable line of sight from acquisition source to business outcome.

01

Source

Keyword, ad, search page or referral source

02

Inquiry

Call, form, chat or insurance-verification action

03

Qualified

Relevant service, geography and payer fit

04

Admission

Outcome recorded by the admissions team or CRM

05

Decision

Compare acquisition performance by source and campaign

Metrics Worth Separating

Cost per lead: marketing spend divided by inquiries. Useful, but it does not tell you whether those inquiries were appropriate for your program.

Cost per qualified inquiry: spend divided by inquiries that meet the criteria your admissions team considers meaningful.

Cost per admission: attributed marketing spend divided by admissions. This requires reliable source and outcome data and should be interpreted alongside payer mix, level of care and revenue economics.

Conversion by source: the percentage of inquiries from a channel or campaign that progress through your admissions funnel.

Attribution becomes more valuable when it changes decisions. Pair it with lead generation and budget planning so spend can move toward the sources producing stronger admissions outcomes. You can also use our rehab marketing ROI calculator to model the economics behind those decisions.
